High Point Medical Center Welcomes Leonard A. Stallings, MD

July 17, 2017

High Point Medical Center proudly welcomes Leonard A. Stallings, MD to our growing staff of providers. He will provide services as part of the Intensive Care Unit team at High Point Medical Center.

Dr. Stallings is a board eligible critical care specialist.  He received his medical degree from Loyola University Chicago Stritch School of Medicine in Illinois and completed a combined emergency medicine and internal medicine residency and a critical care fellowship at East Carolina University/Vidant Medicine Center in Greenville, NC.

Also sometimes referred to as intensivists, critical care specialists are physicians with specialized training in the diagnosis and management of life-threatening conditions. Some of these conditions affect vital organs like the heart and lungs, those that make breathing difficult or impossible, and those that affect entire organ systems, like the renal system.  Critical care specialists are typically found in a hospital's intensive care unit where they monitor patients with life-threatening conditions and make determinations as to the best course of treatment.

High Point Medical Center is a multi-specialty group of physician practices, a wholly-owned subsidiary of High Point Medical Center. We have been serving the needs of individuals and families in Greater High Point, Asheboro, Jamestown, Thomasville, Lexington and southwest Greensboro areas for more than 12 years.
