Bonnie Faust Named Chief Nursing Officer at High Point Medical Center


High Point Medical Center has named Bonnie Faust, MS, MBA, RN, FACHE, NEA-BC, as Chief Nursing Officer.  One of the highest nursing management positions within a health care organization is that of the Chief Nursing Officer (CNO). As CNO, Faust will be responsible for overseeing and coordinating High Point Medical Center’s nursing staff and their daily operations.

Their dedication to the mission and people of High Point is so obvious. I look forward to serving with them and becoming part of such a wonderful community.”      

Most recently, Faust served as interim vice president patient care/chief nursing officer at Morehead Memorial Hospital.  Prior to that, she was the vice president of patient care/chief nursing officer for CaroMont Health.  In those roles she led the patient care team and had responsibility for establishing standards of practice for services including nursing, cardiopulmonary, pharmacy and endoscopy. 

With more than 26 years of health care experience, Faust is author of many health care publications and presentations. Faust holds a bachelor of science in nursing and a master of science in nursing administration from the University of Maryland School of Nursing.  In addition, Faust holds a master of business administration from the University of Baltimore.
